photutils.datasets.load_spitzer_catalog(show_progress=False)[source]#

Deprecated since version 3.0: This function was deprecated in version 3.0 and will be removed in version 4.0.

Load a 4.5 micron Spitzer catalog.

The image from which this catalog was derived is returned by load_spitzer_image.

Parameters:

show_progressbool, optional: Whether to display a progress bar during the download (default is False).

Returns:

catalogTable: The catalog of sources, with Galactic coordinates, 4.5 micron fluxes, and magnitudes in the four IRAC channels.
